Welcome to the new school year in Madison CUSD #12! We are excited to begin another year of learning and growth with our students. One of the most important factors in student success is consistent school attendance. We would like to take this opportunity to explain our attendance expectations and Illinois truancy laws.
Why Attendance Matters
Regular attendance is essential for academic achievement and social development. Missing even a few school days can make it harder for students to keep up with lessons and build the skills they need for the future.
