Note from the Principal
Welcome To
Madison Student Support Center

Welcome to the 2020-2021 school year! I hope everyone enjoyed the summer months while staying safe with your loved ones. We are thrilled to welcome everyone back to a new school year of learning and growing through the Remote Learning model.

Personally, I am grateful to continue this journey with you as your Principal. Since joining the MSSC team I have had the chance to meet many of you and your child. I look forward to continuing a productive partnership with you to ensure our children can achieve their highest potential. We recognize in order to be successful in school; our children need support from both the home and school. We know a strong partnership with you will make a great difference in your child’s education. As partners, we share the responsibility for our children’s success and want you to know that we will do our very best to carry out our responsibilities.

This year we are saying good-bye to one of our teachers, Mr.. Broc Sova.  Although Mr. Sova has left the MSSC team, he is still part of the overall Madison team.  Mr. Sova will be joining Madison High School where he will be teaching Social Studies at the onset of the 2020-2021 school year.  We continue to wish him the best in his new teaching position.  Replacing Mr. Sova will be Ms. Cortesia Owens.  Ms. Owens brings eagerness and excitement to the forefront in the field of education.  She is looking forward to working with the students and reaching out to the community as a means of making this a successful year.  We welcome Ms. Owens to the MSSC team.

Once again, I look forward to working with your child throughout the 2020-2021 school year. It remains an honor and privilege to serve as your principal. Together, I know we will make this school year one of growth and achievement for all children. As always, please feel free to reach out with any questions or concerns.
