Therapeutic Treatment Team

The purpose of the Therapeutic Treatment Team within the Madison Community Unit School District #12 is to assist students and families who are in need of support due to a variety of issues. The team consists of Early Intervention staff, School Counselors, a School Social Worker, and a Balanced and Restorative Justice Coordinator. These staff members assist students with behavioral/emotional needs, location of community resources, and overall student well-being at school. Therapeutic staff members are located at each of the schools within the district and are assigned specific students who struggle with attendance, housing, social skill development, and anger management issues. The team meets weekly to staff student needs and is responsible for overseeing the development of individual therapeutic plans to address the specific needs of each student. If you would like more information about the Therapeutic Treatment Team, please contact Derek Wall at (618) 798-5112.
