A Message From Principal, Rob Miller:
I am pleased to welcome the Madison CUSD #12 staff, parents and most importantly the students to the 2011-2012 School Year at Madison Accelerated High School. I encourage all of you to become more involved in the Madison High School Community. You can start just by staying up to date with the latest news and events on our website, Join a student club or cadre, attend a family event, show your support for our athletic teams and most importantly, SUPPORT your child, student or friend as the students who enter our building each day are the #1 priority of our school district.
Each year our students participate in the EPAS testing system which measures their academic progress annually and gives us a comparison of our students and school with students across Illinois and across the country. The testing begins during a students freshman year when they take the EXPLORE exam, Sophomore year they take the PLAN exam and Junior year the ACT exam as part of the two day testing for PSAE. The results from these tests are used in several ways: to drive educational improvements in our school, to identify the academic achievement level of each student and compare our level of education with those of other schools throughout Illinois, to measure the growth and quality of the educational program offered by the Madison Senior High School.
Please feel free to contact me with any questions or suggestions.
Respectfully,
Rob Miller
Madison Senior High School Principal
