Magic House Field Trip 2018

Wonder Works at The Magic House takes curious young minds and busy bodies on a STEAM learning adventure.  Designed to support and nurture young children’s curiosity for 1 hour and 15 minutes, the guided tour includes a literacy program to accompany the hands-on action.  On our visit we will read The Little Raindrop by Joanna Gray and join the Little Raindrop on an adventure through the water cycle!  The students will fly through a rainbow, splash in a puddle, float down a river, and surf in the ocean before soaking up some sunshine to prepare for the next rainy day.  Following the read aloud, little ones can enjoy a water-filled challenge.  This field trip experience aligns with the Illinois Early Learning and Development Standards.  The Magic House educators facilitate guided field trip experiences that support core academics and encourage creative problem solving, communication and critical thinking skills. The Magic House is open exclusively for school groups during reserved field trip hours.
