The Madison Early Childhood Program, located within Madison Middle School at 1003 Farrish, is a program that serves the three and four year old children residing within the Madison School District.

The Pre-K Program offers half day (3 hour) morning or afternoon classes with a staff of Certified Teachers and Certified Paraprofessional Classroom Aides, who guide the children through state certified Early Childhood “Creative Curriculum” instruction. The district offers door-to-door transportation, healthy snacks, field trips, home visits and the option of dual enrollment with the Riverbend Head Start Preschool program. The staff also includes a Certified Special Education Teacher, Certified Speech/Language Pathologist and an Occupational/Physical Therapist (as needed).

In addition to the preschool program there are other supportive services for the families enrolled. The P.A.C.E. (Parent and Child Education) Program offers parent education for expectant mothers and families with children under the age of three. This program offers:

  • Adult Basic Education (GED)
