A Message From Principal. Rob Miller:
To The Madison Accelerated Middle School Students, Families and Community:
Welcome to the 2011-2012 school year at Madison Accelerated Middle School where doing what's best for our students is our #1 priority. We look forward to another strong year of positive gains for our students both academically and socially.
We appreciate your support, here are a few specific ways you can help your child be more successful at school.
1. Attendance- Students with excellent attendance do better in school than those who miss school regularly. Make sure your child is at school, on time each day.
2. Attitude- Instead of "you have to go to school" how about "You get to go to school" Your child's education is serious business to all of our teachers and staff, but they do their best to make learning fun and engaging for all students everyday.
3. Achievement- Celebrate each achievement and accomplishment with your child. Keep an open dialogue going with your child regarding his or her grades, behavior, friends, extra-curricular activities and assessments, by showing your interest and support your child will be reinforced to do well in school.
